Dr. Sophia Xu is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as an Allergy and Asthma specialist.

Dr. Xu obtained her Medical Degree from the Michael G.Degroote School of Medicine. Following her residency in pediatrics at McMaster Children's Hospital, she completed a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Hamilton Health Sciences.

​

With over a decade of experience caring for patients, Dr. Xu now leads an allergy and asthma clinic serving the Halton and Peel regions.

​

In addition to her clinical work, Dr.Xu also contributes to medical education through teaching programs with local hospitals and community family health teams.

​

Her areas of interest include food allergy, allergic skin disease, and asthma.
